History
Throughout the Mediterranean, Olive Oil has been an essential element in skincare for thousands of years.

Simple, yet highly effective, extra virgin olive oil is one of nature’s gifts, providing radiant, healthy skin.

Molecular Structure / Hydration Boost
High in fatty acids, the lipid structure of extra virgin olive oil is similar to human sebum (oils) allowing it to absorb efficiently without feeling excessively greasy.
Its high levels of oleic acid, squalene, and vitamin E make it an incredible natural moisturizer. It softens and smooths, while locking in hydration and protecting against environmental stressors in a way synthetic ingredients or lesser oils cannot match. The molecular structure allows beneficial compounds to penetrate skin layers.

The antioxidants in EVOO prevent premature aging

  • Calm inflammation post UV exposure

  • Skin Barrier Reinforcement

  • Balanced Hydration

  • Antioxidant Protection

  • Microbiome Support

  • Gentle yet effective Cleansing

Winter Rituals
Winter is a season when exfoliation is essential. Brushing or scrubbing away dead skin cells with a dry brush, loofah, or sisal creates a clean canvas for moisture to sink in.

Cleanse
Extra Virgin Olive Oil washes away impurities without stripping natural oils.
(Interesting Fact – As a form of bathing, Ancient Romans would cover their bodies with olive oil, allowing it to soften and penetrate as it extracted impurities. Extracts from flowers were often added to the oil. They would then slowly scrape the oil off.)

Moisture

Post-shower, while skin is still damp, is the perfect time to apply an oil/moisturizer with few, highly effective ingredients, as this allows the product to penetrate deeper into the skin. The remaining water on the skin is trapped and sealed in by the oil/moisturizer.

Hair

Winter brings about shedding and dry, brittle hair. Extra Virgin Olive Oil is great for the scalp, with anti-inflammatory properties—it can aid irritation and dryness. The fatty acids can nourish hair strands. Gently massage from the back of the neck to the top of the scalp.
