December is a magical month filled with twinkly lights, traditions and festive gatherings. All around the world, people celebrate holidays with time-honored customs, food, decorations, clothing and gifts. One of my favorite memories is sipping fragrant mulled wine and savoring sugar-spiced almonds at the Christkindlmarkt in Munich. The aromas, the lights and the lively banter is still etched in my mind, and if I close my eyes and immerse myself in the vision, I can almost imagine as if I’m back in Marienplatz. However you celebrate, enjoy the holiday season with family and friends, spread goodwill and pray for peace on our beautiful Earth.
