Wonderland has become one of my favorite holiday table settings. It rings in the winter season and is neutral enough for any holiday celebration.

For me, Halloween has always been about unabashedly indulging in sweet treats for one night of the year – or maybe a few days in October, but who’s counting? I do have a sweet tooth so I’m just as guilty as every kid wanting to rip into Halloween bags to see the loot – what could be more fun?!

Enjoying a lobster dinner on Nantucket is perhaps one of the greatest joys in life. After a long day at the beach, we ordered our lobsters ‘steamed and cracked’ from Sayle’s Seafood which allowed for a pre-meal sunset cocktail and got us one step closer to getting our dinner on the table.

Christmas is a holiday that conjures up wonderful childhood memories. Cozy winter nights by the fireplace dreaming of Christmas Lists and what Santa Claus might deliver on Christmas morning. For this table I wanted reds and greens to create a very traditional feel.

I, for one, adore Halloween! It’s an excuse to dress up and eat your favorite candy and burn off the sugar while trick-or-treating through neighborhoods on a late autumn evening with the smell of candles burning in Jack-o-lanterns.
